Title: Wood Fired Pizza in Fairfax

Henry Raymond introduced us to you a couple months back (http://www.vtgrandpa.com/forum/index.php?topic=14255.0 (http://www.vtgrandpa.com/forum/index.php?topic=14255.0)) and I wanted to personally introduce ourselves.

Jay and I (Dena) have been living in Fairfax since 2006.  We have 2 kids and are fortunate to be surrounded by family and friends that also live in town.  We love living in Fairfax, and love to support the local businesses, especially the bakeries and River Berry Farm (yum)!  We also love pizza...wood-fired pizza especially.  We are excited to now bring delicious, homemade wood fired pizza to our town.

We have been filing lots of paperwork this summer and getting all of the necessary permits and certifications.  We are planning to be open on Saturdays from May through October for take-out (weather permitting as the oven is outside).  We are tentatively planning opening night for Saturday, August 18th and will update once finalized with times and menu.

Will your pizza be available by pre-order only or can people just show up on Saturdays?

We are zoned for take out and are encouraging people to call in orders so we can better manage service time. That said people are still welcome to drop in and place orders.  This will help us manage orders as we work through things for the first few weeks.
