To the Fairfax and BFA Community,
Many of you know me, and I am sure quite a few don’t. I have been working at the Fairfax Library since April 2011, and recently went on maternity leave in mid-June. For those of you that have asked, Avery James was born on June 25th, he was 8 lbs 11 oz and 21 in long. In five weeks he has gained quite a bit; he is already 11 lbs 9 oz! Things have been going very well and we are adjusting to life with very little sleep. We are so in love with our little bundle, and we have been putting the advice that many of you have given to good use.
I wanted to let the community know that I am going to stay home with Avery instead of returning to work at the library. The Fairfax and BFA community are truly amazing! Everyone is so welcoming and I feel as though I have really connected with so many people and families. I will come back to visit and show off the little one, this isn’t a forever goodbye!
Thank you for making me feel like such an important part of your community, I truly loved being able to serve you all as your librarian. I wish everyone the best.
