VIOLATION: DUI #2
ACCUSED: Michael S. Thompson
AGE: 23
CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Milton, VT
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 08/18/12 at approximately 1548 hours, Vermont State Police received a call from a concerned citizen that there was a male operating a vehicle erratically on Route 104 in Fairfax. The caller advised that they were following the vehicle and that it had pulled over near the Fairfax power dam and the male had passed out behind the wheel. After Troopers responded to the scene, the male was identified as Michael S. Thompson, age 23 of Milton. After completion of roadside sobriety tests, Thompson was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. Thompson was transported to the St. Albans State Police barracks where he was processed for DUI. During processing, Thompson provided an evidentiary breath test of 0.217%. Thompson was cited to appear in Franklin County Court on 09/17/12 and was released.

I hate to think of what may have transpired if he had passed out while still enroute! Why do people have to drink & DRIVE????????
