Title: 405 Acres Of Farmland Owned By Fairfax Farmers Conserved
Post by: Henry on March 30, 2007, 07:03:03 AM
A 405-acre swath of farmland and forest along Vermont 128 in Essex will remain one parcel of agricultural property for years to come after a deal reached this week between the land's owners, the Vermont Land Trust, and the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board.

Jeff and Jason Boissoneault, dairy farmers who own agricultural property in five towns, recently completed the sale of a conservation easement on the property to the Vermont Land Trust, said Allen Karnatz, co-director of the organization's Champlain Valley division.

Jeff & Jason are sons of George & the late Mary Jean (Magnan) Boissoneault.
