My husband, Larry Myott, is buying syrup for the Champlain Valley Fair sugar house, and the Maple operation in the Vermont Building at Eastern States Exposition.
He buys by the barrel and lots of them. Looking for Fancy, and medium amber. They pay a premium higher than wholesale.
I don't know if he knows about the Minor operation. Do you have a phone number?
You might want to post this on your forum, for your sugarmakers. He tests the syrup for all the good qualities, and usually buys again the next year.
