Elizabeth “Betty” M. (Brissett) Wilson

Jeffersonville - Elizabeth “Betty” MaryAnn (Brissett) Wilson, 75 passed away on Wednesday October 17, 2012 at her home in Jeffersonville. She was born on October 29, 1936 in Averill, VT daughter of the late John and Gabrielle (Bissonette) Brissett. Betty had been employed for 21 years by IBM retiring in 1987. She enjoyed caring for her family, playing bingo and cards and watching birds and other wild life from her kitchen window.
 
She is survived by her two sons Franklin Wilson Jr. and wife Karen of NV; Timothy Wilson and wife Cathy of Fletcher; a daughter Sharon Underwood of Fletcher; four brothers Donald Brissett and wife Dottie of CT; Arthur Brissett and friend Bonnie of Troy; Thomas Brissett and wife Cindy of CT; Michael Brissett and wife Jess of Williston; her sister Catherine “Mimi” Lampher and husband Tyrone of Hyde Park; fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; who will miss her every day several nieces, nephews and cousins and a beloved step family.
 
Betty was also predeceased by her husband Franklin in 1996, her son John, her daughter Margaret, her brother John and sister Margaret Brissett.
 
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday October 21, 2012 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday October 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Cambridge with the Reverend Charles Danielson officiating. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
