Title: Accident On Route 128 In Westford This Morning

This accident occurred in the area of where The Barrows Family lives - There is a blinking caution light there that says do not pass - In my many years of travelling Route 128, the place where the majority of the accidents occurred:

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE:  Essex JCT, VT

DESCRIPTION OF VEHICLE:  Audi  A4

DAMAGE TO VEHICLE:  Total Loss

INJURIES

Both operators were transported to Fletcher Allen

WEATHER:  Snowing       

ROAD COND:  Snow and Ice

SUMMARY OF CRASH:

Mary Ann Westover was traveling southbound on VT RT 128 in Westford, VT, when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed into the oncoming lane of travel.  Westover's vehicle struck the an oncoming vehicle head on.  The operator of the second vehicle was identified as Kristen Sullivan.

The case is still under investigation.

I wondered what that was.  I encountered the backup a little before 7:30, and waited in stopped traffic for about 1/2 without moving.  Then I turned around and went back.
