Well I hope to get home by this weekend.  Medicine and stomach not getting along well, but had some eggs on toast and maple walnut ice cream yesterday.  Had some chicken noodle soup the day before yesterday.  Don't expect to be in a1 shape when I get home, but should heal and be back to normal eventually.  Understand there is black ice out there, so do be careful.  You can do a lot of damage in 10 seconds.  I am so fortunate I did not break any bones.

Mary Kay's ipad at least let's me read what is going on, although I am very slow at posting with it.

I really miss you Henry. It is amazing what we take for granted. I just assume when I turn on the computer that you will have posted all the news of Fairfax. I miss that too but I think you are wonderful. May you be surrounded by your family all through the holidays. Shelly

Henry, best news I have heard today, yesterday, etc..  Be careful when you get home.  We are not as young as we use to be.  I mean you are not as young as you use to be.  Haha.

Paperwork is done, RX for my walker, VNA notified and Mary Kay is planning on driving me home in the early afternoon.  Wonderful care.  Can't wait to see fairfax.

Been a busy morning.  Franklin County Home Health Nurse and Therapist have been here today.  Have been able to eat eggs on toast and Mary Kay picked me up a small ham & cheese sandwich from Minors.  Appetite is lacking a bit, but as soon as I can get rid of the medicine should get better.  Getting around good with the walker and hopefully in a week or so will graduate to just the cane.  I sure missed being home.   To those of you that I don't even know your kind words about me and my web site meant the world to me as well as all of those of you that I do know.  It is no wonder I never plan to leave Fairfax.  It is truly the little town with the Big Heart.  Love you all.
