Title: Have a tablet or eReader or smart phone?
Post by: Fairfax Librarian on January 08, 2013, 07:43:15 PM
Do you have a device such as a tablet, eReader or smart phone that you'd like to put books or audio books on for free?

You can with just your library card!

Come learn how tomorrow evening at the library, at 5:30 (until 6:30). Bring your device (charge up the battery!)

First we will introduce you to our digital resources, then we will offer one on one help as needed to get you going with ebooks and audio books on your device.

This workshop is free and open to all.  We will hold another identical workshop on Thursday, Jan. 31st from 6:30-7:30.

Questions?  Call the library at 849-2420 and speak to Karyn or Debbie.

Thank you for doing this. I know lots of people with kindles and nooks that aren't sure how to take advantage of library sharing.

It's our pleasure!
We want people to know that they can also call us or stop by the library for individual help with ebooks and downloadable audio books.  We offer two separate services for digital audio books and one for ebooks.  www.listenupvermont.org and http://vermontstate.oneclickdigital.com.
