Hi Henry,
This picture was taken today, around noon.
This is Dale & Jim Webb's sugarhouse on Berthiaume Rd.
January 15 is pretty early to be making syrup.

Back in 2006, Bobby Ovitt was boiling sap on January 31st, which was the earliest I had heard of at that time.  January 15th is definitely the earliest I have heard of so far.  You can check out the photos I and the St. Albans Messenger took back then in 2006 by clicking on the following link:
