The wind is coming up and is coming from the North. Looks kind of like a blizzard out there. Visibility looks to be about 500 feet. Kind of glad I am on the inside looking out.
-
It has stopped snowing, however temperatures have dropped about 7 degrees since 8 am. Prepare for a cold, cold night.

You guys are up and at it bright and early this morning. My thermometer just went from -7.2 to -7.1, and so the warming trend begins as I watch "The Fletcher Exodus".
More cars go down by my house in a half hour now at this time a day then travelled this road all day long back in 1953 when my family moved to Fairfax. The black top road ended at Tracy Road, so it could get a bit dusty in the summer. Total population in Fairfax at that time was around 1200. Have no idea how many Fletcher had, but it wasn't very many.
Back in January, 1941 BFA burned to the ground. For some of you newer to Fairfax, you might be interested in reading about that fire and how the Fairfax Residents and Students coped with that disaster.
I will put up a post under Tales Of Our Community a little later this morning.
By the way, while posting this, temperature is now -7.8 degrees.
