Be patient Ed..... this house of cards ain't so stable. Of course the market will go up when the Fed keeps interest rates low. Just stand by.

By the way, did you see the anticipated cost of Obammy care to the average family? $20,000 for the bronze plan. This from the IRS, as they had to determine the cost per family, so they could figure out the penalty if someone does not purchase health care. Oh yea, as previously mentioned, that is for the bronze plan, the lowest rated plan. They go up incrementally, to silver, gold and platinum. Wonder what those cost.

Ed,

Got it from the IRS website. Of course you don't actually "have" to purchase health insurance, you can pay a fine that is one of three category's.... 1) the average annual premium for the bronze plan, which is about $1,666 dollars a month, or 2) 2.5 percent of the households taxable income, or 3) a $2,085 fine levied against the family. Those numbers are right from the good 'ol IRS. And how I read it, it will be the higher of the amounts, but I could be reading it wrong.

Of course an awful lot of waivers have already been handed out to some who have realized the cost that is going to be associated with this from the company perspective. And now the unions (yea, the same ones who demanded this be put through and supported Obammy), have now read the fine print and are wanting out of the program. They realize the companies that they work for are going to either significantly lower medical coverage because of cost or do away with it completely and now these union folks will find themselves standing in the same health care lines the non union folks will be in. (Ed... differentiating between union and non-union doesn't make me a racist does it?)

Wow, you guys can complain about anything.

A simple news report about the recovery, things are getting better, news that just about anyone, regardless of politics, would consider positive and encouraging.

The very first reply turns it into a bitch-fest about the president, whose name you can't even spell.

Looks like he spelled Bush correctly. But we should double check.
