Armond J. Duval
Fairfax - Mr. Armond J. Duval, age 80, died Monday morning, March 11, 2013 at Starr Farm Nursing Facility. He was born in St. Albans, September 6, 1932, son of the late Armond D. Duval and Glenna Young.
Armond served in the US. Marine Corp., during the Korean Conflict. He married Irma Champagne April 20, 1952. He worked as a receiving clerk for Union Carbide from 1956 to 1987. He then opened and operated the Bow Hunters Den Archery Shop for over 25 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #1, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #758. He was an avid outdoor sportsman.
Armond is survived by his wife Irma, a sister Gloria Gillilan Jefferson, several nieces and nephews and many close friends. He was predeceased by his parents.
At Armond’s request, there will be no funeral services. Memorials may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society, 30 Sunset Meadow, St. Albans, VT 05478. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home and Commemorative Services.
