Vermont State Police and Fairfax Rescue workers responded to a two-car accident late Wednesday afternoon on Route 104 in Fairfax. The incident took place near the Nichols Road intersection close to the St. Albans City reservoir. At least one person was trapped in the car and was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Further information was unavailable this morning, but it was not believed the injuries were life-threatening.
