Title: Local Access Television For Fairfax
Post by: Henry on March 16, 2013, 06:02:15 AM
I am told that a representative of LOATV will be at the Selectboard Meeting Monday night.  I hope to make it down to see what he has to say, the good Lord willing and the weather is good.  The way I understand it, the town or individuals can purchase a DVD of this for like $3.  Supposedly you can also watch it on your computer, at a later date after the meeting, if you have high speed Internet.

I am really looking forward to our new Town Office, so there will be more space for this to be done.

I think that this will be excellent for the town of Fairfax, as I also understand it costs the town nothing, something I am interested in knowing how LOATV can do this for nothing.

I have been hesitant to put this up because I don't know enough about it, but will try to provide some follow-up on this.

They get funding from cable companies. I spoke to them about it during the elections.
