SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On May 2nd, 2013 at approximately 0729 hours, the Vermont State Police, along with Cambridge Fire Department, Cambridge Rescue, and Johnson Water Rescue responded to a three vehicle collision that occurred on VT RTE 15 in the Town of Cambridge, VT just east of the Maple Outlet.  Initial reports indicated that the rear tire from Vehicle #1, being operated by McMurray, came off of the vehicle as she was traveling east.  The tire struck Vehicle #2, being operated by Lehouiller as he was traveling west, causing him to lose control of his vehicle.  Vehicle #2 traveled left of center into on-coming traffic striking the rear of vehicle #3, being operated by Consentino, before traveling off the roadway into the Lamoille River.  There were no injuries reported at the scene.  VT Rte 15 was closed down to one lane during the removal of Vehicle #2, but was reopened a short time later.  This crash is still under investigation.
