Title: Fletcher Resident Arrested At Nan's

DATE/TIME: May 12, 2013 at 1644 hours
LOCATION:  Route 104 in Fairfax at Nan’s Mobil
VIOLATION: Title 23 VSA Section 674, Operating after Suspension and Title 23 VSA Section 1201, Driving Under the Influence
ACCUSED: Fletcher Resident
AGE: 52
CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Fletcher, Vermont
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On the above date and time, Vermont State Police initiated a motor vehicle stop involving A vehicle for a defective equipment violation.  After stopping the vehicle, State Police learned that The operator had consumed alcohol prior to operating the motor vehicle.  Additionally, The operator's license was criminally suspended for a previous DUI conviction. He was arrested and transported to the State Police Barracks in Williston.  He was processed for operating under the influence of alcohol. An evidentiary breath sample revealed he was over the legal limit.  He was cited to appear in court for Driving Under the Influence and Driving While Suspended (Criminal) and released.
