Summary of Incident:
On 06/24/13 at approximatley 1925 hours, Trooper responded to a one car motor vehicle crash on Tabor Hill Road in Fairfax. Upon arrival he observed a 2000 Silver Saab 950 off the side of the road in some tall grass. He met with the male operator who was identified as a 25 year old Fairfax man. While speaking with him, he could detect an odor of intoxicants and could see that his eyes were extremely bloodshot and watery. The man admitted to having just one beer. He conducted field sobrietys and provided a breath sample that was over the legal limit of .08%. He was taken into custody for DUI. He spoke with and later obtained statements from neighbors who advised that they had heard and witnessed this vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed before losing control and crashing. He later released the young man with a citation to a appear in court on 07/15/13 at 1300 hours to answer to the charge of DUI and CNN.
