On 7/2/13 at approximately 1730 hrs Troopers from the St Albans Barracks responded to Menard's Market for a reported intoxicated male who had backed into a parked car and was attempting to leave the area. It was learned that an unidentified customer had taken the keys from the intoxicated driver until Troopers arrived. Troopers arrived at the store and identified the operator as a 70 year old man of Fairfax. While Troopers were placing the man in custody for Driving Under the Influence #5 he resisted arrest.
He was transported to the St Albans Barracks for processing, then was lodged at NWCC for lack of $5,000 bond.
