Title: Door to door salesman
Post by: sweetpeakt on July 08, 2013, 02:16:22 PM
Anyone else have a guy come to their door with a box of Oeros asking to talk to the lady of the house?  He drove a navy blue GMC SUV.  I pretty much told him I wasn't interested and close and locked the door.  He then went to my neighbors house.  I know at one time this was happening around Fairfax and was wondering if anyone found out what he is selling or what he wants?  I did call the sherriff's department and the lady said that it sounded like a Kirby vacuum salesman but she would have someone go out looking for him.

No Oreos, but I did have a guy come up asking me to answer survey questions. I pretty much shut the door in face when he started looking around inside. I was watching him leave when it looked like he was writing our license plate numbers down. At that point I came out of the house fuming, asking if he was writing our license plate numbers down. He denied it and stood there while I took his clipboard and looked through every piece of paper he had. He didn't write the plate numbers down, but he was checking off little boxes.

He walked off and got picked up by someone a little ways down the road.

The papers were basically a spreadsheet with roads and addresses. No idea if it really was for a survey or something else entirely
