Internet access is a gateway to an online world filled with opportunities for learning, employment, entertainment, and more.   Accessing the Internet from your local library is a great way to get started -- and now there is a program designed to help  eligible Vermonters afford Internet service at home. Offered through Vermont Telephone Company (VTel), the program is Lifeline for Internet, which offers high-speed access to income-qualified Vermonters, for as little as $9.95 a month.  VTel also has a limited supply of free computers to offer new Internet subscribers – so don’t wait!
