Title: Job Opening At The Fairfax Town Office

JOB OPENING - The Town of Fairfax is seeking an individual to fill an immediate opening in the Fairfax Zoning Office as Zoning and Planning Assistant. 

The position is part-time, typically 16 to 20 hours per week, four days per week, including, on average, one evening meeting per week (Tuesday or Wednesday).  The position offers no benefits.  A full job description is available at the Fairfax Town Office.

Individuals should submit a letter of interest in person or by mail to the Fairfax Selectboard at the Fairfax Town Office, P.O. Box 27, Fairfax, VT 05454

Hasn't this position been posted several times this year already?  Or is this an additional position?  What's the deal?

Not a new position, not posted for quite some time.
Our current zoning assistant has given her notice.

Hi Henry,

Could you add a post to the Job Opening indicating that the part time hours are typically 10 AM until 2 PM, perfect for a parent with a child (or children) in school. 

To the best of my knowledge we have received no applications and Martha's last day is this Thursday.
