Title: Mother Of Gordon & Charles Turner Dies At 83

Cecile P. (Langlois) Turner

Jeffersonville - Cecile Pauline (Langlois) Turner, 83 passed away on Thursday October 10, 2013 at Franklin County Rehab Center in St. Albans, VT surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in E. Berkshire, VT on June 4, 1930 daughter of the late George and Yvonne (Oisel) Langlois.

Being born during the post-depression era shaped and molded her for life.  She was a woman of substance, hard- working, honest, forthright, a nurturer who was kind and loving.   “Ce’s” proudest accomplishments were being wife to Gordon C.  Turner, Sr., the love of her life, her children and grandchildren.  Nothing made her happier than being surrounded by her family and friends.  She loved gardening, cooking, reading, visiting and letter writing.    Cecile previously worked as a bookkeeper/secretary for Turner Plumbing & Heating, an EKG Technician at Fletcher Allen and as a child care provider for family and friends.   She will be thought of with love and cherished memories for the rest of our days.

Cecile is survived by:  her two sons:  Gordon Turner and his wife Jennifer of Fletcher; Charles Turner and wife Paula of Fletcher; her two daughters:  Linda Stark and husband Jack of AZ; Rhoda Kimble and husband Eliot of Johnson; two brothers: Paul Langlois; George Langlois; her four sisters:  Mary Bueb, Annette Pellerin her husband Norm, Theresa Cody, Angie Vanesse;  and two sisters in law: Grace Langlois ; Bibbian Langlois; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and 5 “Day Care” grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by her husband Gordon Turner, Sr. in May, 1972; her brothers Raymond and Thomas  Langlois and her sisters Georgette Langlois; Jane Lefevre; two brothers in law, Frank Cody and Albert Vanesse.

Special thanks to Dr. Donald Miller, the kind nurses and Drs. at the Franklin County Rehab Center, Northwestern Medical Center, Fletcher Allen Hospital and the VNA. 

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday October 17, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel, 1176 Main Street, Fairfax, VT 05454.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday October 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Cambridge with Reverend Charles R. Danielson, officiating.  Burial will follow in the family lot in Binghamville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in Cecile’s memory may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America (www.lupus.org) P.O.
