hello,
My family is coming for Christmas, but oh No, both my ovens are on the fritz. So we will have a Christmas BBQ. I would like to make my delicious cheesecake, but of course I can't without an oven.
Is there anyone here who would let me come and use your for 2 hrs on Monday, Dec 23rd? In return I will make you a cheesecake along with mine at the same time. it's large, about 9.5" round. I don't have to stay...all I would do is start it and prepare it in a water bath ( prevents cracking), hit the oven and leave. All you would need to do is watch that the temp is even for an hour. Then shut the oven off with the cakes in, and leave them in for another hour. Then I would come and pick mine up, and you have a lovely cheesecake for Christmas!
If no takers, no worries...I'll go to Hannafords and get desert.
Thanks!
Nancyd

I almost offered but knew you would be mad when you returned to find only crumbs.
Glad you found an oven!

Raz,
I'll make You and your wife a cheesecake anytime......It's not hard, but I'd need your oven. I have this 20 year ols commercial Wolf stove, some igniters and both thermostats are out. The parts are on back order as Wolf has to make them. I've been out of an oven for 2 months now.....only so much y can cook on stove top. But Life is good, so I'm not complaining.
Really, anytime you want a NY Style cheesecake....I'll do it for you and the Mrs. You only need one taste to get hooked.
