Brenda (my wife) spotted a sign on the old beauty shop (next to the post office) that says Fairfax House of Pizza / Tim's Place - coming soon?
This is a good thing!
Cheers,
Joe

Yes. I understand he is from Swanton and has a pizza place there. Have heard they are good.
-
I have heard the same Lena! Sounds like a good addition to the town!
-
Will the Country Pantry still do pizza as we'll? That will mean 5 places making pizza from Nan's to Minor's. Time for a Chinese Takeout place.
-
General Tsao's Tower of Pizza !
-
They currently do a variety of pastas, pizzas, calzones, and subs in Swanton.
Mike - I like how you think! Chinese in the neighborhood would be nice!
-
A Chinese food option would be amazing, and maybe we can get the crew at Nan's to start serving some authentic Indian food.
-
My husband and I were just talking about how much we'd like a Chinese restaurant in Fairfax- maybe one of the 3 places in St A's would be interested in moving?

Tried it tonight. It wasn't horrible they did mess up our order not a show stopper. Pizza was about a 6 out of ten. Reminded me a bit like Zachary's pizza. Nice to see more business in fairfax.

My favorite is Pizza Hut's Meat Lovers & right close by, I like the Pizza from Fletcher General Store

I have seen several reports of praises for the Fairfax House of Pizza on Facebook. I also heard they have been really busy at night since they opened. I am definitely looking forward to giving them a try!
-
We had a veggie pizza last night and it was delicious! We will certainly go back again.
-
We ordered their Greek pizza tonight & a taco salad; slight mix-up with the toppings as the light up board menu is different than the actual menu & recipe so I called to let them know & they replaced the pizza. Both pizzas were very good as was the taco salad, service was fast though they were pretty busy, prices were reasonable & employees very courteous.

Link to the online Menu. I have had excellent experiences with them so far. And a few had a little mess up in the order and they quickly replaced and corrected. The team is in training and are really busy so I am impressed on how well and fast they are doing so far!

We had pizza & a salad last night. We really enjoyed it. The order was ready in 20mins. as a walk in & very friendly people working! The prices on the menu are very reasonable. Will definately have again!

Tried them out tonight with a delayed pizza order for pickup. Understand still in training but had to wait 5-10min 2nd in line to pay seeing it done above the oven. Pizza okay, poppers so so. Everything half cooled when i picked it up due to holes poked in top of box...never seen that before. Weird...

We had a meat lovers from take out last night and it was wonderful! I like the Swanton location and I was hoping it would be the same.
The holes in the top of the box are to allow the steam out so the pizza crust does not get soggy from moisture. When I worked in a seafood restaurant years ago we would fold over the top of the bag and rip a hole in it so the seafood & fries wouldn't get soggy.

I had pizza the night before and it was delicious (And not soggy pizza makes me a happy camper!). Last night a taco salad and it was also very good.

We have ordered a few times from FHOP. Several pizzas a couple of taco salads, plus several other items.
The pizza has been top notch every time. I feel it is a cross between Zachary's and Papa Franks (80's version). I love the House Special.
The meatball sub was amazing. The meatballs were sliced, so that was odd, but the flavor is excellent.
The taco salad is great, and they'll hold items that you don't like. Like olives. I hate olives.
Breadsticks are great too.
Mozzarella sticks were very good.
The wings weren't crispy. I like the skin to be crispy and not soft. But the flavor is good. I just couldn't get past the soft skin.
The garlic bread was Ok, but nothing I'd order again.
They've been open a week, and I think we might be "regulars" already.
