Title: Non Essential Student Files For 1997,1998, 1999, 2000 Being Destroyed

STUDENT RECORDS - CLASS of 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 Bellows Free Academy in Fairfax, Vermont will be destroying any non-essential materials from student files of graduates A ­ Z from the
Class of 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000.  If any student who graduated from Bellows Free Academy-Fairfax during one of these four years and would like these materials, please call the Guidance Office at (802) 849-9200, x2088 with your name and telephone number.

DESTRUCTION Of SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL RECORDS

Bellows Free Academy in Fairfax, Vermont is planning to destroy special education records of students with birthdates December 31, 1978 and prior as the information is no longer relevant/needed for the student's educational program.

If you wish to have these records before they are destroyed, please contact the Guidance Office at the above address or telephone number within one month of the above date.  After that time, these records will be destroyed.  Please be advised that some of the information contained in Special Education files may be needed later on for other purposes such as eligibility for Social Security Disability benefits.[/b]
