Registration for summer reading is open at the library! Come on in to the library to receive a reading log, sticker and bookmark for your child or teen. (Or teens can sign themselves up!).
This program is open to all Fairfax residents ages 0 - 18.
For every book a child reads or has read to them, one ticket can be placed in our drawing. For ages 13+ and those reading long books, it's one ticket for every 100 pages.
At the GRAND FINALE event - a magic show - we will draw names for lots of fun prizes.
Research shows that keeping a child reading and engaged in learning over the summer is the best way to avoid the "summer slide"! The library will offer tons of fun programs this summer for all ages! Come learn and have fun
