Ralph Ellsworth who lived & died in the house he was born in on the corner of Commette & Fletcher Road used to go & pick strawberries just about every day when they were in season, then drop them off to his relatives, friends & neighbors. He was truly a very nice man who got a lot of satisfaction doing nice things for people.

Yes! I would walk into the parsonage kitchen and there, waiting for me, would be a box of strawberries. He once told me that he enjoyed picking them, but he didn't enjoy eating them all that much. What a great man he was!
