Hello --
We recently put up 3 signs in Fairfax for IMAGINE School House for Open Enrollment. Less than 4 days later, our signs are now "lost" (stakes too!).
As a community that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and families, we are perplexed as to why our signs are now missing! We hope you (or someone) can help us!
We would really appreciate whoever found them, to simply return them...as a new non-profit organization, this was really disappointing.
Thanks for all your help and we hope to have them back soon!

check with the state. Not saying this is the case but there is a 15' rule and the state highway workers just pick them up and don't say anything. Rule is on state routes. all signs have to be a minimum of 15' in from the white line on the side of the road. You would think they would call the number on the sign when they take it. They don't they just take it.

What roads were they on?

We had 2 signs in Fairfax taken - 1 on the corner near Union Bank (they left the Garage Sale sign in place) and 1 in the center near the Flashing light (all other signs stayed in place and many of them remain still there!). We also had the one near Boyden Valley taken (the Real Estate sign was left untouched).
We placed them up just after mowing in that area...so, we aren't sure why such a thing would happen. With that said, we remain undeterred, but would still like them back! :)
I think next time we may be a little more vigilant about how we post them!

We just lost our Blueberry sign at the same intersection by the Union Bank in Farifax---- put it up Friday morning and just noticed it gone this morning. Not sure what the distance from the white line was though.

Gee, I want to put up Art in Bloom signs, but now I am doubtful.

I went and picked up my sign at the Jeff State garage this am. Here is the list of what is there. I also took pics and sent them to WCAX, so we will see if they are interested in the story. My sign was 11 inches in the right of way.

Wow! Thanks for the info as I'm sure that Blueberry sign is ours! Where is the Jeffersonville State garage anyway?

Deb, if you head up 108 it is right after the soccer fields on your left.
