Title: Stolen & Discarded Tools
Post by: Henry on July 04, 2014, 04:31:39 AM
I received this note & am passing it on to any of you that might find some of the lost or discarded items:

Hello,

I am a young man from Johnson who has been volunteering at the local skatepark for years.

In the middle of June, a young man from Franklin County broke in and stole $3,800 worth of tools from our shed at the park. Most of those were my personal tools: my livelihood.

I was informed of the following by the detective working the case:

At some point last week before they could search the place where he was staying in Johnson, he loaded up all of the big ticket items and brought them to Fairfield where he had an accomplice drive him around while he tossed everything bit by bit out of the car.

Here is a list of everything that was stolen.  If you could post the following message to your website that would be great.

I look forward to getting back to work!

Thank you for your time.

I was expecting a list of things more like lawn & garden tools. What kind of idiot tosses power tools out in the wild? I guess the same idiot who stole them in the first place and instead of unloading for cash, which is what you're supposed to do when you steal something, he decides to make it a colossal waste and throw them out! If they can be located, I hope they aren't completely ruined. What a jerk. Something personal should be removed from his possession and given the same treatment!
