Title: Clement Joseph Thebault Dies At Age 87

CLEMENT JOSEPH THEBAULT
September 15, 1926 - July 27, 2014

Westford, VT/Gardner, MA - Clement Joseph Thebault, 87, died Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Franklin County Rehab. Center in St. Albans with his loving family by his side. Clement was born on September 15, 1926 the son of Sylvester and Domitile (Comeau) Thibault. Clement left school at age 17 to proudly serve in the US Navy, during WWII, aboard the USS Pasadena. He recently received the VT Veterans Medal and the Distinguished Service Medal from Gov. Shumlin. Clem was in Tokyo Bay, Japan to witness the signing of the Peace Treaty. Clem was a lifetime member of the VFW Post # 905 in Gardner, MA. He was also a member of the Eagles and the Franco American Canadians Club, On May 9, 1953, he married Georgette Emeila Thibodeau in Rumford, Maine. He had worked as a machinist at Seiberts Inc. for 16 years in Gardner, MA and for 29 years Baldwinville Products, in Baldwinville, MA. For 29 years. Clement is survived by his wife Georgette, of Westford, by his son Camille “Mel” Thebault & his wife Kathleen of Errow, NH., by his daughters Ann Moore of Milton, VT and Janet & her husband John Perry Jr. of Templeton, MA, by 6 wonderful grandchildren, 11 plus 2 wonderful great grandchildren, his brother Louis Thibeault and wife Rita, and several nieces and nephews. Clem was predeceased by his siblings Arthur, Camille, Theresa, Pat and Joseph. Memorials in Mr. Thebault's name may be made to St. Luke's Parish, P.O. Box 7, Huntville Road, Fairfax, VT 05454 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 11 am in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gardner, MA. Burial with military honors will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Gardner. There will be no calling hours.
