Congratulations to Emily and her family.  It is a true honor to be selected by this program and allows Emily to stand out among her peers. The only way to be a candidate for the National Merit Scholarship Program is to take the PSAT as a high school junior.  I encourage all students who are in their junior year of high school to take the test at the cost of $18.
