Title: The Triplets Are Here
Post by: Henry on August 13, 2007, 03:02:46 PM
The McDonald-McDevitt family, who the The Burlington Free Press profiled earlier this summer, has grown by three.
Kiki McDonald gave birth Friday night to triplets — two girls and a boy. The delivery came earlier then planned after McDonald developed a fever and labor began, her husband John McDevitt said.
The babies are in the neonatal intensive care unit at Fletcher Allen Health Care "and for the most part are doing well," McDevitt said by e-mail.
The natural triplets came as a surprise to the South Burlington couple, which already has three children and was considering permanent birth control options at the time McDonald became pregnant.
Grandparents by the way are John & Mary McDevitt, Former Fairfax residents and St. Luke's Parishioners.
