BETTY ANN (TROMBLEY) BRAULT
WINOOSKI - Betty Ann Brault, 81, died peacefully Feb. 19, 2015, in Birchwood Nursing Home in Burlington, following a courageous battle with cancer. Betty was born on Aug. 3, 1933, in Winooski, to the late William and Sophronia (Boskey) Trombley. She left school at an early age, and married Armand Brault on Aug. 26, 1950. She was a longtime resident of Winooski, where she raised her children and worked for Forest Hills Outlet. She was a devoted mother, a caring wife, and a woman who exemplified dignity and graciousness. She held a strong faith in the Lord and believed He would guide her in life's journey. Her greatest joy was spending time surrounded by her family and friends along with her dogs, Mercedes and Tiffany, who were never far from her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Armand "Pete" Brault, of 53 years; and son, Michael. She is survived by her three children, daughter, Sue Savoy and husband, John, of Essex Junction; and two sons, Normand Brault and wife, Cindy, of Williston, and Mark Brault and wife, Diane, of Fairfax. Her memory remains with her five grandchildren, Kerri Monette and husband, John, of Milton, Sean Scichitano of Essex, Alana Brault of South Burlington, Michael Brault of South Burlington, and Tyler Brault of Milton. She had the honor of being a step-grandmother to Christopher Abell of Breckenridge, Colo.; and was the proud great-grandmother of Caleigh Monette and Autumn Gingras. Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the staff of the Birchwood Nursing Home for the wonderful care and affection they bestowed upon our loved one and the compassion they shared with our family. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at the LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St., Winooski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at St. Francis Xavier Church, Winooski.
