Fairfax certainly has to be a very desirable place to live. Back in 1959 I bought the little White House at 80 Fletcher Rd for $1800 for the taxes & overdue water bills. I repaired it & made it livable & sold it for $15,000. At that time there were no other houses from the big house owned by Joe Peloquin. The first new house to be built in that area was Steve & Pauline Ratte's house.
That little White House just sold for $253,000. I am always happy to see these old houses bought & restored, as especially here in Fairfax it is a good investment.
I certainly do love our little town & I guess a lot of other people do too.
