Title: High Speed Internet - Comcast

Hi All,

I received a note from a Fairfax Resident who asked me the following question:

Do you know of anyone who has high speed internet on Tabor Hill Road? Is COMCAST serving all of Fairfax or just portions?

In regards to high speed internet, I understand that there are several other means here in Fairfax besides Verizon DSL and COMCAST.  I do know that COMCAST only serves certain areas of the town, but have no idea which areas it serves, except that I do know it does not come up as far as my place on the Fletcher Road.

The following is worth a try:

A North Fairfax resident has Surfglobal and sent me the following note:

I don't think the resident would be covered by the one I have but go to www.surfglobal.net (http://www.surfglobal.net) and sign up - if they get enough demand in an area they might set something up.  My speeds range from 500 -1500 kb/sec.
