Title: Pretty Darn Good Chance Of Frost Here In Fairfax Tonight
Post by: Henry on October 16, 2007, 07:13:36 PM
Hi All,

Well its that time of year -- Time for us Northerners to relax a bit from the summer chores - Tonight's forecast:

Tonight: Clear and cold. Lows: 26/34 Winds: Light Wednesday: Morning sunshine. Increasing afternoon cloudiness. Highs: 56/62 Winds: SE 5-10 mph

Was driving down Route 128 tonight up past the Milton Crosscut and looked off to my left - What a beautiful sight - Beautiful colored leaves all through the valley with the white snow capped Mount Mansfield in the background.

Would have stopped and taken a picture, but there were three cars behind me.

I didn't notice any snow yet on Mount Mansfield, but that can only spell a longer commute to work for me in the near future as the Notch will close soon.

Temperatures in the 20s means I will have to turn up the heat a level on the pellet stove to keep the family warm. I will be burning 24x7 before I know it.
