Fairfax - Lindsay Mae Sheehan, 33, passed away peacefully at UVMMC on November 4th, 2021 surrounded by her loving family after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
Lindsay was born on November 3rd, 1988 in Burlington, VT. Lindsay was raised in Charlotte where she attended Charlotte Central School and later graduated from CVUHS in 2007. Lindsay’s industrious spirit would lead her to take a job at Spears Corner Store at the age of 14. When not working at Spears Corner Store, Lindsay could be seen operating tractors for farmers across Charlotte. Her farming experience would lead her down the path to obtaining her Commercial Drivers License, which led her to driving gas tankers. Dental school would be her next accomplishment; graduating with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2017.
In 2016 she met her true love, Anthony Cain. In 2019 their family grew by one with the addition of their adorable daughter Brynn.
Lindsay enjoyed kayaking, camping, puzzles, line-dancing, boating, snowboarding, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her cats, but above all Lindsay's true passion was being a mom to Brynn.
Lindsay was preceded by her father Patrick Sheehan and all of her grandparents. She leaves behind her loving partner Anthony and daughter Brynn, son Thomas, Anthony’s parents Carl and Diana, Mother Vivian Sheehan, Step Father Kevin Kaigle, Sister in law Elizabeth and husband Muthanna, Sisters, Courtney and husband Charles, Chelsea and partner Dylan, Emily and Marie, Nephews and Nieces, Ava, Ari, Nolan and Sadie. Lindsay also leaves behind a substantial amount of extended family and friends.
A huge, warm-hearted thank you to all the medical staff that cared for her throughout the years. With special thanks to the CF and ICU team at UVM Medical for their tireless dedication and unwavering support.
