FAIRFAX — Lauralee Aksdal, daughter of Harold and Becky Aksdal of Fairfax, and Eric Moseley Best, son of Ship and Ren Best of Dauphin Island, Ala., were united In marriage Sept. 8, 2007.
Don Collins, justice of the peace and a long-time family friend, officiated the double-ring ceremony at Burlington's Waterfront Park. Maggie Aksdal, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Skipper Best, brother ot the groom, was best man. Andrew Nolette, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
Stanley Lutostanski, a close friend of the couple, chauffeured them to their reception held at Halvorson's Upstreet Cafe in Burlington. Mrs. Best graduated from Bellows Free Academy-Fairfax and the University of Vermont. She is employed by Evolution Physical Therapy and Yoga in Burlington. Her husband graduated from UMS-Wright High School In Mobile, Ala., and the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. He is a member of the Coast Guard, currently serving on Lahe Champlaln in Burlington.
They reside In Shelburne.[/b]
