McNall 50th
FAIRFAX — Ralph and Patricia (Alderman) McNall celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at The Abbey restaurant in Sheldon on Oct. 5 with 160 family and friends.
The celebration and buffet dinner was hosted by their five children and 12 grandchildren. There was a short program led by family friend, Leon Graves; oldest grandson Maxx gave the invocation; and son Michael gave a toast. A slide show assembled by Clndy Preston and Karen McNall was shown of young and old memories, and poems by granddaughters Lindsay, Devon, Maggie, Jennifer and Morgan were recited. A special album with a page of memories from each grandchild was presented by granddaughters Julia, Jennifer, Morgan and McKenzie, Remarks by Cindy Preston, Leon Berthlaume, Harold Howrigan, Edgar King, David Underwood and Ralph McNall concluded the program.
Mr. and Mrs. McNall were united in marriage by the Rev, Edwin Burke on Oct. 12, 1957, at the United Church of Fairfax. The couple have made their home In Fairfax for 50 years.
Mr. McNall has worked as a dairy farmer and has kept busy involved in many dairy-related boards locally and nationally. Mrs. McNall was a homemaKer and mother. She is involved in town politics and ran for town lister, a position she currently holds. They have not at this time set a date to retire.
