Title: Westford Installs Dry Hydrants
Post by: Henry on November 14, 2007, 08:28:17 AM
Hi All,

I wondered what those pipes were coming out of the ground just as you go out of Westford towards Essex past the bridge - Well now I know - Don't know if Fairfax has any of those or not, but do remember taking a picture up on The Austin Road I believe of a hole that Fairfax had chopped in the ice through the snow near the road - Sure sounds like a good idea:

There is one on Buck Hollow Road next to Bob Ovitt's pond.
Another on Nichols Road. There is also one by Mayotte's in Fletcher.
I think there might be a couple of others.
