Today has always been a special day in the Raymond Household and today Maryann and I, our three daughters Lynn, Sharon & Mary Kay, Our son-in-law Mike Empey, two grandsons Henry & Sam and my sister Theresa will gather together, enjoy some wonderful food and definitely before the day is done will be reminiscing about members of our family no longer with us. There are many traditions I think most families have and ours is no exception. We could try to look ahead and feel sad thinking about those that might not be with us in future years, but it is much better to look back and reminisce about all the nice and humorous things of the past, as well as give thanks for the many blessings God has bestowed upon us. Some of you will be spending your first year after the loss of a loved one and it will most likely be your most difficult holiday season, but reminiscing about all their good points and funny and wonderful things they used to do, hopefully will make it easier for you.
A very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you from all of us.
