WILLISTON, Vt. -- A Wal-Mart customer was led away in handcuffs this week after an argument over a gun sold in the store.
Police said the Wal-Mart clerk was showing the man a gun at the Williston store, when the customer asked to load in a bullet.
According to police, when the clerk said no, the man grabbed a knife and threatened to kill someone in the store.
Police said the man, who's from California and in his early 20s, was trying to steal from the store.
