Bitter weather on the way; snow squalls, below-zero temperatures in the forecast
The National Weather Service has posted a hazardous weather outlook for Vermont as an arctic cold front moves into the state today.
The Weather Service said the front will arrive this afternoon and produce snow showers and possible snow squalls. These squalls have the potential to produce 1 to 3 inches of snow very quickly and whiteout conditions.
Temperatures will dip tonight to single digits. Sunday’s high temperatures will be around 12 degrees, and Sunday night’s lows will sink below zero.
