Hi All,
Well, I woke up this morning expecting to see lots of snow and bad weather - I was soooooooooo confused. Didn't know whether I was awake or dreaming. I had settled in my La-z-Boy last night with the front lights on prepared to watch it snow. I had gone to St. Albans earlier yesterday to make sure we had food in the house before the big storm and meanwhile here is what happened, at least here on the Fletcher Road.
The snow did start around 10 p.m., at least if you looked closely you could see it and never did come down very heavy. Got a few gust of wind around 1:30 a.m. that blew a little snow off the roof then there was nothing. I even went out and got my newspaper this morning before I had my coffee just to see for sure what was going on. I did see the school buses go by, so there is school. Temperatures up here right now are about 29 degrees above zero and total snowfall, well that is averaging just about 1 inch.
Maybe I am in paradise and don't know it.

I checked WCAX's listing of school closings, and it looks like BFA-Fairfax and Fletcher Elememtary are the only schools still open. BFA-St. Albans and even Burlington High School are closed.
I was surprised to wake up and see a small amount of snow.
I need to head out shortly to get the mail(9:39am). Hope it doesn't squall while I'm out.

Same here in Central Vermont, they closed the schools in the Waterbury area. We got at most 3 inches. Was a quiet night and morning for the FD. No call outs to I-89 for slide offs.
