My team (Waterbury Backcountry Rescue) is still on stand by to assist in this search (so many of us have our equipment staged).  But, tragically I think it will be a recovery search at some point in the spring.  Hopefully, the family will not attempt their own search with untrained volunteers.  I have been to a few searchs where clues (non crime) have been destroyed or tampered with thus delaying search techniques further.
