Title: Raves for Uncle Mike's Photo's
Post by: NorthFairfaxBoy on February 14, 2008, 08:48:49 AM
Thanks Mike.  I travel virtually the same route to Tennessee that the race team took.  I have seen all most all those places you took photos of.  Its nice to see those same places and things through the eyes of someone that hasn't!

This summer I am traveling yet again to Tennessee (a possible permanent trip!) and will snap some photos and post them.

Thanks!
I took over 200 pictures and still have more to post. I really need to set up a page of the pictures I already posted. I haven't even put up shots of some of the other sprintcars. And I took a bunch of them.
Glad you have enjoyed the show.

So you never did say.  Did you guys eat at the topless resturant? :):):)

No. We were just driving by.
For the entire trip, we ate at three restaurants.
On the way down, we stopped for breakfast at Duanesburg, NY. Then Tuesday night, we stopped at a Cracker Barrell a couple of hours north of Tampa for dinner. Then on the way back, we stopped at a Flying J's truck stop for breakfast.
The rest of the time it was convenience store munchies, contenental breakfasts at the hotels, and mystery meat track food.
Yum yum.
I had hoped to stop at a 7-Eleven, but it didn't happen. Snapped a picture of one as we drove by, though.

I certainly enjoyed the photos of Pedro's South of the Border.
Stopped there many times.

The D.C. photos remind me of the 12 hour traffic jam I went through many years ago.
5 lanes of cars as far as the eye could see.
People began selling items from their cars.

I didn't stop at the topless places either.

Thanks, Mike !!!
