Hi All,
Thought I would put this up tonight, so those of you who wake up to spring in the morning will know it is really spring.

Yup!! that's right - Steam coming out of the Ellsworth Sugar House

as Jim Ellsworth prepares to throw a few more logs on the fire

I believe that is Patti (Bellows) Smith waiting, maybe not so patiently, as Jim Ellsworth gives the boiling sap a critical eye.

Jim Ellsworth and Mary Spaulding are ready for that new spring syrup which they should be ready to draw off in just about another hour.
Looks really easy doesn't it. Well, I spent some time with Jim and Mary today and all this just didn't happen by itself. Picked up some real interesting information about sugaring today vs when I was a kid a few years ago and want to share that with you during the coming week.
