Harriet (Hopkins) Stinson
Eden - Harriet (Hopkins) Stinson, 92 passed away early Tuesday morning March 25, 2008 at The Manor Nursing Home in Morrisville, VT. She was born on April 6, 1915 daughter of the late Herbert and Elizabeth (Cameron) Hopkins in Littleton, NH. Harriet lived most of her life in NH where she worked at home sewing shoes for a factory. The last nineteen years she lived in VT with her grandson Philip and his wife, Lila. Harriet will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank Kitty Heath who took care of her at home and the staff of Manor Nursing home for their love and care during Harriet’s stay.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Phil; Jeff; Tim; Eugene and Laurie. Many Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren; Several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.
She was also predeceased by her husband Leslie Stinson, three brothers; William; Herbert and John. Four Sisters; Mildred; Flossie; Marion and Aida.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday April 5th Noon till 5:00 pm at the home of Phil Miles 1082 Belvidere Rd. Eden, VT. There will be a graveside service on June 21st at the Belvidere cemetery, Belvidere VT at 11:00am for Harriet and her son Richard Miles who passed away Dec.31st 2007.
