A woman from Enosburg was held at gunpoint in her home on Sunday by two men who demanded she give them prescription medication, said Franklin County Sheriff's deputies.
Deputies said two men forcibly entered the residence at about 1:50 a.m. One of the men held the woman in a chair, while the other man pointed a gun at her. Both took the woman's prescription medication and left in an unidentified vehicle that headed west on Sampsonville Road, said police.
The woman described one of the men as a slim, white male with light brown hair that was cut at ear-level. She described the other man as white, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a stocky build, round face and short, dark hair.
A preliminary investigation has revealed that the assault and robbery was an isolated incident, said deputies.
The investigation is being conducted by the sheriff's office and state police from St. Albans. Anyone with information about the assault and robbery should contact one of the agencies.
